| Banavie is situated near Fort William, on the banks of the Caledonian Canal and it provides the perfect base from which to explore the boundless outdoor activities associated with Lochaber and the Great Glen. Known for the remarkable scenery, dominated by Ben Nevis, the highest mountain the UK, it presents a beautiful environment too for those who simply want to get away from it all. | Maybank is a spacious detached single floor property situated in a lovely position at the side of the canal. With a large garden and an enclosed area ideal for children to run around, it makes the perfect holiday cottage for families. The cottage comprises a living room with open fire, TV and DVD player, dining room, conservatory with patio doors, fully fitted kitchen, and four bedrooms, two doubles and two twins. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and toilet and there is a further bathroom with shower over the bath. |
| Shepherds Rest is nestled between the Caledonian Canal and the River Lochy, with direct access from the cottage to the river. It is a superb spot with terrific mountain views and provides easy access to an unending array of outdoor activities. Set over two levels, the ground floor comprises a living room with dining area and French doors, fully fitted kitchen, a twin/super king bedroom and wet room with toilet. On the first floor are two further bedrooms, a king and a twin, both of which have access to the bathroom with bath, shower and W.C. |
| The cottages are 1.2 miles apart and can be booked together for parties of up to 14 persons. Both cottages have a membership to local Fort William leisure club, comprising of pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. |
